screenshotKelsey Dickeson is a Windy City native and a graduate of Ball State University … famously the alma mater of David Letterman. She graduated cum laude with a dual degree in telecommunications and journalism, and a minor in European Studies.

In 2018 she began work as a general assignment reporter and multimedia journalist for KSNB Local 4 in Hastings, Nebraska.

Kelsey has also worked for NewsLink Indiana and The Daily News.  NewsLink Indiana is Ball State’s Emmy Award-winning nightly newscast.  The Daily News is a print and online news service presenting stories of interest to the university and central Indiana communities.  This site includes work that Kelsey prepared for those news outlets.

Kelsey was among a select group of students who worked on an immersive learning project at Ball State studying methamphetamine abuse in Delaware County, Indiana.  Three articles that Kelsey contributed to this project can be found on her Unmasked page.

In 2016 she completed an internship at WFLD – Fox 32 News in Chicago.  A weekly journal describing that experience can be found on her Internship page.
